Flow 0.2.0
Flow now shows what Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode are doing in each workspace. You can also drag workspaces to reorder them.
This release adds agent status to the sidebar and tabs.
Agent status
Run Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode in a Flow terminal, and a dot on its workspace and tab shows what the agent is doing.
| Dot | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Blue, pulsing | The agent is working |
| Yellow | The agent needs you |
| Green | The agent finished in a terminal you haven’t looked at yet |
Looking at the terminal clears the green dot.
When an agent in another workspace or tab needs you or finishes, Flow posts a notification and plays a sound. Click the notification to go to that terminal. Flow skips the notification for the terminal you’re looking at. When an agent asks to run a command, the notification says it needs permission.
Flow doesn’t change your Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode config. It passes its hooks to the agent each time the agent starts. The first time you run Codex in Flow, run /hooks in Codex and trust the Flow hooks. If you use bash, add one line to ~/.bashrc as shown in the README.
Reorder workspaces
Drag a workspace up or down in the sidebar to move it. Flow keeps the new order after a relaunch.
Workspace menu
The Workspace menu now lists the window’s workspaces and tabs, with a checkmark next to the current ones. The first nine have shortcuts. Press ⇧⌘R to rename the current workspace.
Title bar buttons
The title bar has two new buttons. One shows or hides the sidebar, and the other opens a new workspace.
Fixes
- Clicking a workspace in the sidebar keeps the keyboard in the terminal. Before, arrow keys and typing moved the selection in the sidebar.
- Tabs keep the same height when you hover over them or switch between them, and the close button stays in place.
